Ready to take your skills to the next level? Our improvers session focuses on stance, steering, and gaining confidence in stronger winds.
Once you've mastered the basics, it's time to refine your technique. Our improvers course is designed to help you transition from a large beginner board to smaller, more agile equipment. You'll learn faster tacks, how to use the harness, and begin to explore planing. Our instructors will be right there with you on the safety boat to provide instant feedback and video coaching analysis.

Wing Surfing Introduction
Experience the newest watersport sensation. Learn to handle the wing and catch your first rides.
Wing tuition is offered 7 days a week throughout the season. Due to governing body guidance and to insure practical and effective delivery, the ratios of instructing in Wing tuition is set lower than that of windsurfing. These sessions are run around our windsurfing delivery, as such booking is advisable. Contact us for more information regarding RYA Wing certificated courses.
WingSurfing, and the more advanced WingFoiling, is the latest water sports craze to hit our waters. While only recently appearing at Coverack Windsurfing Centre, the sport has long passed its infancy stage and is quite a common sight on accessible waters across both the UK and the globe. Unlike windsurfing, the wing isn't attached to the board, but is still controlled by your hands whilst standing. No previous water sports experience is required, and you can learn the basics on a large windsurf board. As you move into the next level, you'll need a dedicated WingFoiling board, which has a foil attached.

Understanding our WingSurfing Approach
Small Groups, Big Progress
Our WingSurfing lessons focus on small groups and optimal conditions to ensure effective learning and maximum fun.
Our WingSurfing lessons start in small, friendly groups of no more than four people, so you'll get plenty of hands-on coaching. Compared to Windsurfing, WingSurfing needs a touch more breeze to really work well, so we look for a minimum of 8 knots to keep the equipment and sessions fun, smooth, and effective.
At the beginning, we focus on the fundamentals: how to handle the wing, get going, steer, and turn with confidence. As you progress, we build on those skills by working on a more efficient stance, generating speed, tacking, sailing upwind, and gybing. All of this is taught on large, stable windsurfing boards, giving you a solid platform to develop great wing control and move across the water feeling relaxed and in control.
Once those foundations are in place, it's time to step up to the next level — winging on the foil. WingFoiling is especially exciting because foils are incredibly efficient, allowing you to generate speed in lighter winds than many other wind sports. With the right board and setup, you'll get your first taste of lifting onto the foil and experience that unforgettable, floating sensation that makes wingfoiling so addictive.
